I have been drinking one of these almost every morning for over a month. It's very simple and quick to do. We have a mini-blender that works great and is easy to clean.
- 1/2 cup yogurt (I prefer vanilla)
- 1 Ripened Banana, peeled
- 5 Strawberries, tops cut off
- 1/4 cup Blueberries
- 1/4 cup Orange Juice (or pineapple juice)
- 4-8 ice cubes
- 1/4 cup Creamer (optional)
Add the yogurt and banana, mix. Then add the strawberries and blueberries. Mix again. Then ice cubes topped with juice (and creamer). Mix until ice is chopped well.
So simple I almost feel stupid posting a recipe for it! It is very delicious, and with a bagel or some toast, you have a nutritous breakfast that will easily get you through until lunchtime.
