Thanksgiving is coming up soon. w00t!
I always like to what people are thankful for, and we usually go around the table at dinner and let everyone say something they are thankful for.
This year I have much to be thankful for.
I have a loving daughter who not only puts up with my shit (she has little choice) but she joins me sometimes and even laughs at my bad jokes. She may not understand all my puns but she knows when to "ooh, dad" me.
I am thankful for my mom. She may be <edit> and loving, but I love her lots. She helped me when I had to move, she helped me with deposits for the new apartment, and she helped me buy my new car. She is a stable rock in my life and without her I would have to pay more attention to my bank account.
I miss my grandma. Kinsey's great grandma. We went out in October and spent the day together, but I used to see her all the time. I suppose now that she lives close to me it's natural to not see her as often as I'd like. Maybe not natural but ironic? I dunno.
I made it over to my grandmas old house in Saint Paul. This was something that bothered me, that I haden't been there since she moved. I used to tell people that my grandparents lived in that house since I was conceived. When my mom got preggers they bought the house, though sometimes I wonder about the timeline.
My mom said one day that I was concieved on 4/20. I would like to think this was true but I have a hard time beleiving it. It's like telling someone that the Mazda GLC I had. spray painted with drug innuendo including a giant mushroom on the hood, was impounded and up for auction on 4/20.
These two things were on DIFFERENT 4/20s.
I got off on a tangent.
I am thankful for so much, and I wanted to let the internet know.
